Terms of Use
Effective 17 October 2026.
Video to Text is licensed to you through the Microsoft Store under the Microsoft Standard Application License Terms. HAYAH is the licensor. These terms add the following.
Price
Video to Text is free to download. The free version transcribes the first 10 minutes of each file. Two optional add-ons, sold by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store, unlock files in full: Lifetime Unlock (one payment, Pro for as long as the app is offered, on the Microsoft account that bought it) and the 7-Day Pass (Pro for 7 days from purchase). Prices are shown in the Store and in the app before you buy and may vary by country. There is no subscription. Refunds follow the Microsoft Store refund policy; write to us if something went wrong with a purchase.
Your files and transcripts
Only transcribe audio and video you have the right to use. You are responsible for how you use the text and subtitles the app creates. Automatic transcription can contain mistakes, so check the result before you rely on it. Keep backups of important files: the app writes new text and subtitle files and leaves your originals alone.
Open-source notices
Includes open-source speech recognition components; licences listed in the app. HAYAH is not affiliated with the authors of those components or with Microsoft.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law. HAYAH is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
